Cedar has healing, insecticidal, antiparasitic, mucolytic, anticatarrhal and anti-infectious properties.
Cedar EO can be used against warts, cysts (sebaceous), skin ulcers and mycosis. It stimulates the scalp, reduces scars and cellulite.
Cedar also acts as a mosquito repellent, against bed bugs, ticks and other insects.
The First Nations use it to purify places and to symbolize balance.
Use: Cedar EO should be used topically (on a specific area) or as a spray (in dilution, for places).
Contra-indications: Do not use for pregnant or breastfeeding women as well as for babies. Cedarwood EO should not be used on mucous membranes.
